ENTRY.001 - The Asylum Night Jacket

ENTRY 001 is not mass-produced and will not be sitting in a warehouse waiting to be sold.

This release works through a limited pre-order production model.

When you place your pre-order, you are reserving your piece before the production run begins. Once the pre-order window closes, we confirm the final quantities with our manufacturer and your garment enters production.

This allows us to produce only what is genuinely wanted — reducing unnecessary stock, waste and overproduction while keeping each MorteNoir release intentional.

HOW IT WORKS

01 — YOU PRE-ORDER
Choose your size and secure your piece during the pre-order window.

02 — WE CLOSE THE RELEASE
Once the window closes — or the available allocation is reached — orders are locked.

03 — PRODUCTION BEGINS
We manufacture the required quantity specifically for the release rather than producing large amounts of excess stock.

04 — QUALITY CHECK + DISPATCH
Once production is complete, the pieces are inspected, prepared and shipped directly to their owners.

Because your piece is being produced rather than taken from existing stock, pre-orders take longer to dispatch than a standard in-stock order. The estimated production and shipping timeframe will always be shown before you purchase.

This is slower fashion by design.

No unnecessary overproduction. No warehouse full of unwanted garments. Just pieces made because someone chose them.

You are not simply buying from the first MorteNoir manufactured release.

You are helping create it.

Certain MorteNoir releases are offered through a pre-order / made-to-demand production model rather than being held as ready-to-ship stock.

For these releases, your order is placed before the production run is completed. Once the pre-order window closes, the final production quantity is confirmed with our manufacturer.

Because these pieces must first be manufactured, shipped to MorteNoir, inspected, prepared and then dispatched individually to each customer, pre-order items have a longer fulfilment time than standard in-stock products.

ESTIMATED DISPATCH

Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, please allow approximately 5–7 weeks from the close of the pre-order window for your order to be dispatched.

This estimated timeframe includes:

• Garment production
• International transportation to MorteNoir
• Customs clearance where applicable
• Quality inspection
• Order preparation and individual fulfilment

Please note that this is an estimated dispatch timeframe, not a guaranteed delivery date.

Production schedules, international transit and customs processing can occasionally experience delays outside of our direct control. If there is any significant change to the expected timeframe, affected customers will be kept informed.

ONCE YOUR ORDER IS DISPATCHED

Once your piece has been prepared and shipped from MorteNoir, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and tracking information, where available.

Normal delivery times for your destination will then apply.

ORDERS CONTAINING PRE-ORDER ITEMS

If your order contains both an in-stock item and a pre-order item, your order may be held and dispatched together once the pre-order item is ready, unless otherwise stated.

If you would prefer available items to be shipped separately, please contact us and we will do our best to assist. Additional shipping charges may apply.

PLEASE ORDER WITH THIS IN MIND

By purchasing a pre-order or made-to-demand item, you acknowledge that the product is not immediately available for dispatch and agree to the estimated production and fulfilment timeframe shown on the product page at the time of purchase.

This slower production model allows MorteNoir to manufacture according to genuine demand, helping us reduce unnecessary overproduction and excess stock.

Cut from black stretch-cotton twill, The Asylum Night Jacket is defined by its hardware-heavy construction: silver-tone buckles, exposed zip detailing, reinforced eyelets and adjustable strap work built directly into the silhouette.

Every element has a purpose. The layered closures, repeated metalwork and structured shape give the jacket its unmistakable form without relying on excess.

Made from 95% cotton / 5% elastane for structure with enough movement to remain wearable.

Most standard UK online orders may be cancelled up to 14 days after delivery. After notifying us, your item must be returned within the following 14 days.

Please contact support@mortenoir.co.uk before returning anything so we can provide the correct instructions and return address. Items should be unwashed, unaltered and handled only as necessary to inspect them.

Customers normally cover return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. Personalised or individually specified products may be excluded from change-of-mind returns. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
