The Gravecloth Vintage Straight-Leg Jeans are a heavyweight dark-washed staple built for the alternative wardrobe. Cut from a dense 85% cotton, 15% polyester blend with a vintage wash finish, mid-rise waist, and a loose straight leg that carries the weight of something worn-in and intentional. Street, stage, or shadows — these are your foundation piece. Made to order. Built to last.

Designed in the UK. Made to order. Anti-fast fashion.

  • Pair with the Gravecloth Overshirt for a full dark denim co-ord
  • Style with a black gothic graphic tee and chunky platform boots for a grunge streetwear look
  • Layer under a longline black coat with a studded belt for a gothic editorial fit
  • Wear cuffed at the ankle with fishnet socks and creepers for an alternative everyday outfit
  • Material: 85% Cotton, 15% Polyester — structured cotton-poly blend
  • Fabric Weight: 10.8 oz/yd² (365 g/m²) — heavyweight, substantial feel
  • Garment Weight: approx. 640g
  • Fit: Unisex loose / relaxed straight-leg — true to size; size up for a baggier grunge silhouette
  • Rise: Mid waist
  • Leg: Straight leg, full length
  • Finish: Vintage wash — washed for a worn, lived-in dark aesthetic
  • Care: Machine wash 30°C gentle · No bleach · Tumble dry low · Iron low (avoid print) · No dry clean
  • Production: Made to order in the UK — ethically produced, zero excess waste

Garment colour and print placement may vary slightly between batches. We work hard to stay consistent, but minor differences in dye and print positioning are a natural part of the process — and honestly, they make each piece a little more yours.

Returns & Refunds — Made to Order

We know buying from an independent label can feel different — especially when you're not sure what "made to order" really means. This page is here to walk you through everything clearly, so you can shop with confidence.

Something not right? We've got you.

If your order arrives with a fault, a print issue, or isn't what you expected based on the product listing, please reach out to us within 14 days of receiving it:

📧 support@mortenoir.co.uk

Just include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Photos where relevant (this helps us resolve things faster)

We aim to respond to all requests within 14 working days and will always work with you to find a fair resolution — whether that's a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund depending on the situation.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — but only while your order is still in "Confirmed" status, before production begins. Once your item is in production, we're unable to cancel as materials have already been cut and allocated to your order.

If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible at support@mortenoir.co.uk and we'll check the status right away.

Returning an item

If a return is approved, we'll send you the correct return address and instructions. Please don't send anything back without confirming with us first — unconfirmed returns cannot be accepted.

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Sent back within 14 days of receiving our approval

Please note that return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service for your peace of mind.

What can't be returned?

A small number of items are non-returnable for hygiene or production reasons:

  • Tights, underwear, swimwear, socks, and masks
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
  • Items that have been worn, washed, stained, or altered
  • Orders delayed due to incorrect address or contact details provided at checkout

Refunds

Once a refund is approved, we'll return the full amount to your original payment method in the currency you paid. Refunds are typically processed within 14 working days of approval.

Still unsure about something? Don't hesitate to reach out — we're a small team and we genuinely care about every order. We'd rather answer a question before you buy than have you feel uncertain after.

We don’t make things for the sake of making things.

MorteNoir was built on refusal — refusal to overproduce, to compromise on quality, to treat clothing as disposable. Every decision we make is guided by three principles that go beyond aesthetics.

Empowerment

Fashion is not decoration. It is declaration.

At MorteNoir, empowerment means giving you the tools to express who you already are — not who the industry tells you to be. Every piece we design is an extension of identity, not a costume. Dark luxury, refined rebellion, built for those who have always known exactly who they are.

Quality

Quality is not a feature. It is a refusal.

A refusal to cut corners, chase trends, or produce pieces that fall apart after three washes. Every MorteNoir garment is made to last — in construction, in relevance, and in the statement it makes. We operate on a made-to-order model because we believe every piece should exist for a reason. Yours.

Sustainability & Responsibility

We only make what is needed. Nothing more.

Our made-to-order model eliminates overproduction at its root. We use eco-friendly and recycled materials in all packaging, non-hazardous biodegradable inks, and we are continuously developing more sustainable fabric options. Our goal is simple: build a brand that takes less from the planet and gives more to the people who wear it.

Darkness refined. Style redefined.
